Ponderosa Waterfall
The Ponderosa Waterfall is where all of the water for Kettle Lake comes from. Falling nearly a thousand feet before hitting the surface of the lake, it wouldn't do to hold a conversation here. However, the rocks near where the water meets the lake are always bathed in a cool mist, and this is a favourite gathering place of the Khymir during the summer month, to cool off.

East Shore
| To the east of Kettle Lake, there are large cliffs against the lake, some sheer, some even bent inward under the relentless water. The cliffs have a number of smaller caves drilled into them, accessible through a route of tunnels and passages, but the access routes to these are a closely guarded secret among the Khymir, who use them as extra dens in times of need. There are only a few safe-access routes to the lake here, and none are very easily found.

Khymir Island
| This large island, which sits close to the middle of Kettle lake, is home to the Khymir pack. As it is completely surrounded by water, it's quite hard to gain access to, and as such, is a pretty safe location for the pack to raise its young. The island is very large, but devoid of prey, although the pack do know how to fish from the banks.

West Shore
| The West Shore is the most reminiscent of a beach. Fine, soft sand coats everyone’s' pads, and finds its way into their coats. Further back from the water of the lakes there are small dunes and hills, slowly growing a cover of grass and then morphing into bushes. The shore here slopes gently, and it is easy to gain access to the lake.

Rynol Marsh
|
This large, spread out marsh, which lies to the south of Kettle Lake, is a wonderful place for the Khymir Pack. They gather here, and when fishing is sparse, they can also be seen hunting the frogs and other creatures that call the marshes home.
